We would like to introduce you to the Grand Hotel. Originally known as the Market Hotel, it occupied a position of importance in Lindsay's shopping area in the late 1800's. Known as the Queens Square where farmers displayed their wares on a weekly basis, The Grand served as a stop for many a traveling merchant and his horses, and was well known far and wide for it's hospitality. The Grand Experience restaurant was added in the early 1980's and has 
been a popular dining spot for families, business people, and tourists throughout the City of Kawartha Lakes.
This friendly business offers you THE GRAND PUB with four lounges, live entertainment, a 10 foot T. V. for sports events (there are twelve TVs altogether), THE GRAND EXPERIENCE with family dining with a private party/meeting room, and THE GRAND EXPERIENCE PIZZA AND 
TAKEOUT (we deliver our menu!)
Recently, The Grand changed hands and now is owned by
Charles McDonald and Ben Thompson. Your favourite pub and restaurant are still the same great places to eat, and look out for new events coming up in the next while. Congratulations to the new owners.
